Cancer is not a disease; it is a collection of pain and sufferings. Cancer does not only bring pain and suffering to the one who is dealing with it, but their family and those around them also take part in it. This disease has ensnared humans thousands of years ago, but in all these long years, not many prevention or treatment methods have been identified for it. May luck help our generation to be able to find a cure for this dreadful disease after all these centuries and millennia, using the accumulated experience and knowledge. Although this horrible dragon appears every day with a new shape and form and in a different body, and drags people to the edge of death and extermination. But apart from the scientific complications in cancer treatment, economic related issues make patients die even sooner. So why is less talked about prevention and useful ways to prevent cancer in different societies? At the cancer genomics Congress, we not only intend to make our voices heard in the loudest and most expressive way possible, about the importance of prevention and early awareness of cancer, but also to look for the newest and most effective ways by modern technologies, innovation and personalized treatment and services and covering its costs, as our social obligation. Yes, it seems a difficult task, but by using the technology and innovation ecosystem, we have been able to overcome major crises so far; The corona pandemic was one of the last phenomena. Therefore, in the cancer genomics Congress, we have launched a section under the commercialization committee which is named as "Idea to Startup Festival". In this event, in addition to networking and forming the cancer prevention and treatment ecosystem, we plan to identify and support groups that have new ideas. In this context, those that are ready to form a startup or already have companies in fields such as diagnosis, treatment, types of drugs and supplements, insurance and financial services, artificial intelligence and data mining, screening and personalization of treatment and other new methods such as nano technology utilization are gladly accepted. Let's imagine the day when people, upon hearing the word cancer, will no longer feel worried and fearful, and will not be concerned about the physical sufferings and problems with its high costs and its uncertain future. That day will be one of the most magnificent and glorious days for human beings. Together, we are intended to be part of the creators of that awesome day. May God help us.
