The head of the center and secretary of the soft technologies and development of creative industries headquarters in the 10th meeting of cultural advisers of the Islamic Republic of Iran emphasized the role of creative companies in correcting the trend of selling culture and literature and creating wealth from this field.
Parviz Karami, head of the center and secretary of the soft technologies and development of creative industries headquarters, in this event and in the group of cultural advisors of the Islamic Republic of Iran, stating that the main focus of support in recent years was on knowledge-based companies, he said: in the last two years, with the support of the Vice-Presidency of Science and technology has paved a new path for employment and creating added value in the field of cultural and creative industries by developing the ecosystem of creative companies.
Parviz Karami stated that the raw sale of culture and literature with the help of creative and knowledge-based companies gives way to the creation of wealth and employment, adding: the most important goal and priority of the creative industries ecosystem development program is to support the creativity and innovations of young and educated manpower, who are active in the field of soft technologies and creative industries.
Pointing out that Iran's handicrafts have the third place in the world, but unfortunately we have a smaller share in sales and presentation, he said: Iran's share of the world market of 2700 billion dollars of creative and cultural industries with the networking of creative and knowledge-based companies and with the help of the penetration of technology and Innovation in made in Iran products is achieved in international markets and by cultural consultants of abroad.
The need to develop the ecosystem of creative companies
Parviz Karami stated that there are 20 branches in the cultural and creative industries, and so far, creative companies have had effective activities in the country due to the support of the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology. Animation is another branch whose market is estimated at 270 billion dollars.
The Secretary of the Soft Technologies and Development of Creative Industries Headquarters continued: Creative and cultural industries have unique capacities such as low cost of job creation, cultural and economic effectiveness in tandem, protection of national identity against the process of globalization, development of Iranian and Islamic lifestyle and appropriate with climatic and local characteristics.
Pointing out that the knowledge-based and creative ecosystem was not only costly, but also added value and created employment, Parviz Karami added: When we say selling raw materials, we do not mean only in the field of mines, oil and gas, our literature, our myths, culture, art and tourism. Our cultural heritage is being sold raw. Why should the neighboring countries take characters and characters from our ancient myths and literature and produce serials, films and animations under other names and in their own language and export them to our country and other countries? Raw sales in the field of creative and cultural industries should be stopped, and creative and knowledge-based companies are doing this.
He also said: more than 300 thousand human resources have been employed with the help of this ecosystem and they have brought more than 350 thousand billion tomans in financial turnover.
High resilience of cultural and creative industries in the conditions of sanctions
He stated that the resilience of the fields of cultural and creative industries is more than that of hard industries in the conditions of sanctions, and said: In the export of creative industries, due to the access to domestic raw materials and creative manpower, the total cost is competitive, also considering the volume Exchanges in the world, Iran's market share is still attractive for countries, especially countries in the region.
The Secretary of the Soft Technologies and Development of Creative Industries Headquarters, pointing out that in the field of export of creative industries, exports have been on a case-by-case basis, stated: Negotiation to increase transportation options, holding a specialized event for identification and recall, monetary agreements in the region, facilitating company registration. Iranians in the destination country are some of the challenges and export proposals in the field of creative industries.
