Parviz Karami: Vice Presidency of Science and Technology provides facilities to knowledge-based and creative companies producing Made in Iran toys

The Secretary of the Soft Technologies and Creative Industries Development Headquarters in the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology visited the exhibition and sales market of the seventh toy festival of the Children and Adolescents' Intellectual Development Center.

Parviz Karami, the head of the implementation for the map of the national document for the development of cultural and soft technologies, stated: "Fortunately, this exhibition, which is held on the initiative of the center, has been accompanied by creativity, innovation and growth every year." I am happy that this year, an exhibition was also held with the help of the friends in the center, and it is almost the first exhibition that people were able to attend after 2 years of the corona virus epidemic.

Parviz Karami said: "In this exhibition, toy manufacturers and suppliers also feel good because they see their market booming. We need to know that toys, entertainment and play, while a cultural and identity-building work for our children and adolescents, are also an employment-generating and lucrative industry, with $ 100 billion in toy turnover in the world today, and unfortunately, we have entered this field late."

Provide facilities to support Made in Iran toy manufacturing companies

Advisor to the Vice President of Science and Technology, stating that the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology provides facilities for knowledge-based and creative companies producing Iranian toys: I am confident that creative and knowledge-based companies will have a good entry in this field, and in this regard, the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology and the Center for the Intellectual Development of Children and Adolescents can support and facilitate the activities of these companies so that they can design and produce good and standard toys.

The Secretary of the Office for Soft Technologies and Creative Industries Development in the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology, stating that the production and consumption of toys and games in the world reflects the development of countries, continued: "Now we have about $ 350 million in toy imports and this shows That the country has moved towards the consumption of toys, but on the other hand, we must also help domestic toy manufacturers so that this market is not in the hands of others. We have to take over the toy market so that by exporting it, the domestic toy industry can also play a role in creating employment and income.

Parviz Karami explained about the scientific deputy's support for knowledge-based and creative companies: The headquarters of soft technologies and development of creative industries, after the document of national development of soft technologies was approved by the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, its main activity is to identify Starting and shaping creative companies first through creative and innovation houses, today, we have 70 creative and innovation houses in the country. The headquarters also provides good facilities for creative and knowledge-based companies entering the field, especially for companies that are manufacturers and can offer themselves at a high standard and meet export standards. . We will establish these companies in creative and innovation houses and technology export houses of Iran, which have been established in seven countries of the world. The Vice Presidency of Science and Technology has provided good facilities for these companies and such products.

The need to enter the supply of interactive toys

Parviz Karami, stating that the main entry of knowledge-based and creative companies should be in the field of interactive toys, said: We are lacking in the field of interactive toys and our producers are few in this field. We need to provide good incentives and facilities in this area so that knowledge-based companies can enter the field in various fields.

Regarding the expansion of the exhibition in other cities, the spokesman for the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology said: "The toy exhibition must be held throughout the country, because Iran is not just Tehran, and this exhibition itself creates creativity among our educators and teachers, as well as students. With the help of creative and innovative houses in the provinces, we are helping to hold a participatory exhibition."

In the end, the Secretary of the Soft Technologies and Creative Industries Development Headquarters pointed out: The Toy Supervision Council should have a governing role in the field of toys, while taking care of and monitoring the production of toys, it should also identify the challenges in this field. And with the help of government institutions, support manufacturers and exporters so that Iranian toys can prosper both inside the country and be exported abroad. Aydin Mehdizadeh, the head of the secretariat of the Toy Supervision Council, and the friends of the Toy Supervision Council were supposed to play the role of the foundations of creative companies, and they can identify toy companies and introduce them for creativity.

The 7th National Toy Festival and market for selling toys are being held coincides with the days of Ramadan 2022 from 17 to 1 in the morning at the Center for Cultural and Artistic Creations of the Center for Intellectual Development of Children and Adolescents located on Hijab Street in Tehran.
